Very soft and applies wax or polish well. In addition, the material washes well and is ready to be reused.

Works - sort of

To be fair I should have compared it to other pads, I used it to clean up a silver and nickle National Tri-cone Guitar, it really blackened up pretty quick and got gunky and worked about as well as a paper towel. It wasn't that expensive so I won't complain too loud..
