Not that great...

Honestly, it's not all that great. I bought it based on the nothing but great review here, but maybe I should have been a little more picky. Yes, it's good for fitting around the contours and gaps in wheels, but you better be sure you have some wide contours and gaps in those wheels. My wheels are 5 star patterned alloys, so I'm OK, but if you have anything tighter, you're probably going to have a tough time squeezing this thing down to reach into the tight places. As to using it on the car itself, yes the fiber covering is nice and not likely to scratch, but the sponge itself just seems too dense and just doesn't hold a decent amount of water at one time. When I wash my cars I like getting a huge glop of soapy water on them at a time. With this sponge, it's like a cup or two, then back to the bucket, another cup or two, then back to the bucket. It just doesn't hold a good amount of wet stuff at a time. Really disappointed. For me, I much prefer going back to a g ood, clean, big cotton towel that can hold and load a glop at a time...

Get the job done

Ordered it evade my old yellow ones were falling apart and I got tired of finding piece of my sponge left on my car. Used it yesterday for the first time and it works great. Cleans better than your standard sponge and doesn't leave any mess behind! I definitely recommend it!

Works Great

I bought this because I wanted something to wash my rims. I used to use rags but it was hard to get in to the crevasses.

This is great because the foam conforms to whatever I'm scrubbing/wiping so I don't miss spots and things get cleaned better and faster.
