Will leave micro-scratches.

I live in CA where these trees will leave some sort of sap droplets on your car that harden and make it very difficult to clean off. So I heard about this microfiber mesh sponge and thought I would give it a shot. It works great on glass but it will definitely leave micro-scratches in your finish which cannot be buffed out. I didnt trust anything on my car so I tried this on a small spot first and no doubt, you can see these really fine scratches in the finish. I can find some other things to clean with this I'm sure (like my bathroom) but definitely not on a car.

it works, its a sponge to remove bugs.....ya, its that simple....not sure a review is really necessary but why not, people like to be reassured when buying online

Removes Bugs And Not Paint

I ordered this because I do a lot of driving at dusk, which where I live, is when all the bugs come out. I use this thing all the time and it really helps me remove bugs from the front of my car. Since it is so soft, sometimes you have to lightly scrub the bugs a bit if they've been on there a while. This is fine with me, though, because even after many uses it appears to have left my paint untouched :). When my current one wears out, I'll definitely buy another!
