Works as advertised

I purchased this backing plate because I read it was flexible and would help contour to the car's surface. I use this 5" backing plate with my wool pads on a Porter Cable 7424xp and I have been 100% satisfied with it and would buy it again.

Necessary if using Meguiar's MF cutting/polishing pads...

I have used other back plates on my DA while using the Meguiars MF pads, and while they worked, they did not grab them as well as the Meguiars backing plate does. Well made. Just don't lose the washer.
