Black microfiber towels are finally here!!! These are hard to find but we have them. We don't like to make them because if we use the standard dye they will bleed and fade, but we went the extra mile, spent the extra dough, and made these towels with the more expensive color fast black dye. For most applications detailers prefer lighter colored towels because they can see the dirt, dust and grime which can cause scratching when embedded in the microfiber, but for extra dirty jobs, like wheels, and engines, sometimes you want a darker towel. This towel is for those dirty jobs where you don't want to stain your beautiful, white, green, yellow and blue towels. This towel measures approximately 16"x16", and weighs in at 50 grams, 300 grams per square meter.

Black Micro Fiber Towels Clean Up!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and changed our counter tops and sink. I have been a huge fan of micro fiber towels for years and used them exclusively for all my cleaning needs. We rarely used any chemicals to clean windows or glass products. The bright yellow towels I purchased from the big-box warehouse stores were stained and showing their age. I wanted something equally durable and "pretty" for my new sink. I read the reviews and and ordered the 10 pack of 16" X 16" Black Microfiber Towels and we love them! They are very soft and absorbent; just like the ugly yellow ones, and they do not show stains! My husband's only complaint is that they blend in too well with the black sink and he can't find them as easily, hah! They do not shrink and the color seems to be holding up well after many washings. I do wash mine without bleach or fabric softener however I do throw in some Borax with the detergent. I plan to order more and gradually retire my ugly yellow friends as t hey gradually fade away.....

Good quality microfiber towels - suited for general tasks

You probably won't want to buff your Bugatti Veyron with these towels, but they're perfectly acceptable for use in your car's interior and for simple polishing and clean-up tasks. The towels are charcoal grey, and are hemmed with contrasting black material.

These towels are lighter weight vs. some of the super plush microfiber towels sold by auto detailing supply firms. Of course, they're a fraction of the cost. Made in China, they're a 80/20 Polyester/Polyamide blend.

As with other MF towels, one side features a tighter texture, and the opposite side is more plush. Bottom line? I'm comfortable polishing the (expensive) lenses on my Oakley sunglasses with these towels. My shades aren't quite a Bugatti, but they're something I care about. These are decent towels, and a good value.

I rated them 5-star because they were exactly what I thought they would be and they were delivered on time and in good condition. Too many times a product will arrive and be totally not what was expected. This was not the case here... so I was pleasantly surprised.
